The app teaches English from video: dual subtitles, a dictionary from lines, review, and a quiz. Answers to common questions about that flow are below.
How do you learn English from films and series?
In Lingstudium, films and series are language material: two subtitle tracks, tap a word in the line, save it to a dictionary, and take a quiz after watching. This is a learning app, not a “watch online” service.
What are dual subtitles for learning English?
Dual subtitles show English and your native language on one screen. You turn them on to parse a line, not to watch a movie with a translation. You can keep only the English track.
How do you review words from a film after watching?
Words from the subtitles stay in your dictionary. Cards, a trainer, and a word–translation quiz lock in vocabulary from that video, not a random list with no film.
How do you learn English with subtitles in the app?
You open a study video with two tracks: English and your native language. Tap a word in the line to see the translation in the subtitles. That is English study with subtitles, not a separate movie session.
How do you save and review words from a film?
A word from the subtitles goes into your personal English dictionary. You then review it: cards, a trainer, and a word–translation quiz on vocabulary from the video — not a standalone Anki clone without the film.
Why does the app use films and series if it is not a cinema?
Video is language material: dual subtitles, a dictionary from lines, and review. Playback extent follows the study goal. The process for rights holders is on a separate page.
What does a Lingstudium subscription include?
Paid learning videos, no daily cap, and HD for subtitle and dictionary work. Payment is for a language-learning app, not an online cinema.
Is the subscription for watching films?
No. Films and series are material to learn English from video: dual subtitles, saving words, and a quiz. There is no separate “watch series online” service.
